Mr. Amato is a hard-working, dedicated professional who assisted me with my project. His passion for higher education is unsurpassed and he is a credit to his profession. Mr. Amato is a great asset to the Plaza College community.
Plaza College is a hidden gem! I was two years postpartum and wanted to embark a nursing career. A mutual friend told me about Plaza’s accelerated nursing program and I was enrolled a month later. I’m currently in the full-time accelerated program, but there is also part time for those that have jobs. The pace of the school is fast, but the staff is very attentive. For the curriculum, tutoring (with the school’s professors) is also easily accessible. It’s impossible to fail with the abundance of help that Plaza offers!
Presently a student here at Plaza College, and I am transitioning from the Allied Health program to the nursing program. While this journey comes with its challenges, the incredible support from the faculty and staff makes it both manageable and fulfilling. Mastering exams, preparing for the HESI exam, and gearing up for the interview can sometimes feel overwhelming, but maintaining focus and a positive mindset significantly eases the process. I recently had the pleasure of working with Ronnie for a student spotlight feature, and I can't recommend him enough! As someone who isn't great in front of a camera, I was a bit nervous about the whole process. However, Ronnie made everything incredibly easy and comfortable. The A-Z class really motivated me to continue pursuing a degree in stenography. It's a quick four classes that introduces you to the steno alphabet. I loved learning a new code language in just four days and can't wait to learn more! Our teacher Cindy was very informative. She answered all of your questions. The guest speaker also spoke about working as a stenographer, which got me really excited to get started and practice.
Everyone was so nice especially Brianna Woodfin. She made everything easy for me.
I had the best experience with the A-Z class. Very informative, had fun while learning and thankful for Ms. McMahon who was the best instructor hands down. Thank you Ms. McMahon!
