They insisted on a site visit- the lady would not hear me out on the phone. When they showed up to appraise they said it was $150 to move one bed in the same house! They have a 2 hour minimum. They should have communicated that either on the phone or on the website. HUGE WASTE OF TIME! Move a bed from one room in a house to another
Moved our belongings a short distance (several avenues) to our new home. I made the mistake of not getting several estimates, but, I chose Kens because two other family members used them and said they did a good job - and under budget. Ken himself came and gave an estimate of $800. He saw the whole house, most of which was boxed already before giving he estimate. Did not take care with perishables.Also refused to except item that was on list to be moved..Overall it just seemed like they couldn't be bothered
Office personnel are pleasant to work with. We spoke several times leading up to the move to work out details. On move day, driver called and said they were 15 minutes out, but then didn't show up for an hour. Both trucks arrived at storage, although splitting up would have made more sense. Packing took a long time, and they could have used the extra hour to get started. On-site, the crew chief needed better organization to assign tasks and keep the move on track.
