I am an avid DIY'r. The one thing I would not DIY is dealing with the insurance companies. Get an advocate on your side it is WELL worth it. Garden State Public Adjusters go above and beyond. Incredible service! They were at my location an hour after I called doing all the necessary remediation work. On the insurance end it was handled quickly and efficiently and received a settlement within a very reasonable time. Second time I have used them and both experiences were exceptionable!!
