Just moved to Baldwin Long island 1st time homeowner happy and nervous at the same time. I found this place this morning at 3:30am and I got a good feeling after reading all the reviews. So I called today at like 8:15am gave them adescription of what I wanted done and the parts I already had and they gave me the price right then. Jerry was here at like 10:30am. Jerry arrived on time and tended to the numerous issues our front door lock had. He pointed out the ways that it had been abused over the years, and explained what he was doing as he made fixes. Now the lock is working smoothly again, and with proper new keys it's a cinch to operate. great experience , would definitly hire again i called the company and explained we had lost the key for a lock and needed the lock replaced. he suggested maybe they could re-key it and it would be less expensive. they were available that day, were on time and though we did have to replace the whole lock (it was 50 years old) they did not hit us over the head. very professional company. what i thought would be a hassle of a job, it was easy and a pleasure dealing with this company.

. I have had a few new locks put in in the last five years, I needed three keys to operate the new locks and I wantedto avoid needing any additional keys. I called in the evening and he came the very next morning and designed the new lock to require the same key as one I already had He also fixed a latch in about a minute which had kept falling open. A previous locksmith said it would require a new washer and considerable time to fix.

They did a really great job, offered additional service that I was going to do anyway. You could also tell that they have a lot of experience in this field and that is what you want. new locks installed, keyed for same key, scheduled appointment

I contacted Install a Lock at about 9PM and left a message. For security reasons, I needed my lock changed ASAP. My call was returned within minutes. I was told someone would call me at 8AM the following morning to set up an appointment. I was called at exactly 8AM, as promised. I explained that I needed my lock changed ASAP. We set up an appointment for 10AM, and the locksmith was there even before 10. Very polite and professional. Jerry gave me a fair estimate and followed through with the work. He arrived in his fully-equipped mobile lock-shop van to do the work. I have three entrances to my home, and two of the door locksets were malfunctioning. The third was on a separate key. He repaired one set, replaced another and keyed all three alike - locksets and dead bolts. I now have three working doors with a single key. No problem -- the guys from Install A Lock showed up as promised and made new keys for my fourexisting locks within 1/2 hour. Great job. I would highly recommend them and, if I ever need a locksmith again I will definitely give them a call. I called two days before to request service to change the locks on my front and back doors (my contractor had misplaced the keys I had given him - big security risk!!).

Everything went well. The lock was changed without a problem. Would not hesitate to use them again. Definitely would recommend! Needed lock changed on a store front because under new ownership.
