Very well. Costs were explained over the phone when I first called and the locksmith that came was very professional. We bought a new house and needed to change all the locks, several which included double cylinders. The locksmith keyed all cylinders to the same key and went through checking each one with us to make sure that every key worked in every door. We were very pleased with the promptness of the service.

Went very well. I called him due to the good reviews he got here on angieslist.com and Jerry himself answered the phone. We made arrangements on the spot (one-call-close... I didn't even call around for price comparison). The day of service came without a call for confirmation (on either end), and when he was slightly late, I worried and called his office. Gerry explained all of the work clearly, gave me options, and installed the locks well. He fixed a couple issues with my door hinges/frame without charge. He's a proud family man who knows locks well. I will definitely use him again for any lock/door work in the future. They replaced three locks, reset my door hinges, and fix a couple issues with my door.

We called Install a Lock for a new property. We needed to "rekey" several doors. Jerry took the appointment and it was prompt But the weather took a nasty turn & we needed to re schedule. Tommy took the new appointment and arrived on schedule. Professional, courteous & knowledgable I could not ask for a better result. The Price was as Reasonable for the work I requested. I suspected a few locks would require full replacement and was relieved to only have one out of the 1/2dozen. Hire w/ confidence!

The experience was great from start to finish. I called and spoke to Jerry and he was helpful and knowledgable. He even showed patience with me as I had had him work up an entire estimate only for me to call back 5 min later and change my mind on what I wanted. He’s an excellent locksmith. I’ve used him for over five years. He’s great on price and great on service. He does door-to-door service and he’s very reliable. I used Jerry Schmidt at Install A Lock. He’s a licensed locksmith.He changed a lock and made some keys.

The company had an emergency, so I was called, and they did come a few hours late. However, Jerry was very professional, and walked me through everything he was going to do, and all of my options at different price points. He gave me a quick estimate of nicer locks and when I told him that was too much, he gave me a less expensive option, but still a good quality lock. I spoke with Jimmy at the store first set up an appointment for 7/5 with Jerry to install my locks. I was very please from the very beginning since I moved out to Bethpage in my very first home I wanted to feel secure. At no time did I feel pressure to buy an expensive lock but I wanted to even though Jerry suggested a more affordable lock (who does that these days usally they always try to rip you off but not Jerry!)
