Prompt response to my phone call. Arrived on time and performed the work carefully and weel. I have a front door that is the original 1930's door and needed a new lock. Jerry and Charlie were able to install a smooth working lock while keeping the original brass handle. This saved money and also allowed me to preserve a small piece of my history. I have read other rave reviews on Angie's and now I can add my own! Very happy!

I called Install-A-Lock at noon and they were at my house at 1 to re-key a lock for me. I was very happy with the service they provided and how prompt they were. Highly recommend. Rekeyed front door and made new keys.

They were prompt, professional, and a little expensive. The lock looks great. Everything was high quality. I would definitely use them again. They put in a brand new entry lock. He had three different types of locks and suggested Quickset. It was a better quality.

I just purchase the house & I wanted to change the locks. The project involved replacing 2 entry door locks and the garage door. I spoke to Jerry (Install-A-Lock) a few days before appointment. Overall, a very good job. I gave a low grade for punctuality because nobody showed up for an hour, at which point I called and found the guy taking my call scheduled it on the wrong day. To his credit, the locksmith arrived shortly there after. He quickly did exactly what I wanted (repair a very old lock) and didn't try to up-sell me a more expensive fix. No complaints at all about the work - the guy obviously knows his trade. The price was reasonable, too. Repaired front door lock.

I just moved to a new home in the Jericho/Westbury/Brookville area and hired Install-a-Lock based on the recommendations at Angie's List...I was not disappointed!
